Snow condition

Around 50 cm of fresh snow in Elm. The freeride runs across the meadow slopes in the ski area can all be skied down to the valley - albeit with rough meadow conditions on the steeper slopes. Very nice powder snow at the top of the ski area, but also with a relatively thin base. Enjoy stony slopes with a little caution. The slopes in the touring area around Chli Chärpf are all easy to ski, but you should also be careful of large stones at the bottom.

Risks

No significant cracks or avalanches observed. However, individual slides have started on the surface and run out - but it is unclear whether they are slabs or loose snow. Visibly high winds at higher altitudes indicate a more delicate situation the higher you go

In Elm and around Elm and around Elm, the beautiful meadow slopes were finally shredded again today with 1A pudder. However, the snow cover will soon be gone again due to the southern exposure, unless there is more snow to come.
