Snow condition
In the Rhine Valley there is snow all the way from Lake Constance to Chur and you can ski right down into the valley. Depending on the conditions 5-10cm. That's good enough on meadows. At 1500m then maybe just under a meter, increasing with altitude. On average perhaps 2 stars.
Snow quality
No longer a hit, it was incredibly fluffy powder at the weekend and on Monday, but now it's a heavily packed 10cm overlay on quite compact ground, and also soaked from 1500m upwards. Not bad to ride but after the weekend quite sobering - before the weekend I would certainly have given it 3 stars.
Risks
Still a three - see SLF. Helicopter blasts show very large tear-off edges in steep and rocky terrain. No problems in 30 degree terrain today.
Overall impression
Blue Bird and all the way down into the Rhine Valley - that's worth at least 3 stars, which is rarely enough. Moderate snow quality, but still a great day. After the amazing 4-day rush of the weekend, I first had to recover for 2 days and skip yesterday's intermediate snowfall, but today I was able to do it again...
