Exposition
Snow condition
Mau. There is very little on the steep south-facing Wiesn slopes. But there are also plenty of sharks lurking further up and the boulder fields are not covered in snow.
Snow quality
Thanks to the cold, fine powder has been retained. Rides really nice and silky. Unfortunately, it's just getting a cap on the south-east to south-west side.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
2+ old snow was indicated, so I was careful on the way. But I didn't see or hear anything. I did see a lot of wind influence: big cornices, gangs, but the slopes didn't look dramatically blown in.
Overall impression
It was definitely worth plowing through the velvety powder above the high fog today. Let's hope that the fresh snow will really come next week, because after the coming weekend the last corners will also be tracked.
