Now we added another 30-50 cm between 1500 and 2200m. There now certainly a good 3 stars. In the Rhine Valley there was a closed snow cover today from Bregenz to Chur. In Bregenz about 20cm (the descent from the Pfänder is possible), then at Kriessern about 5cm then more again, at Sargans about 15cm. Flumserberg barely rideable to Walensee. Good riding everywhere in the Rhine Valley on meadows.
Snow quality
Very good. After the wind died down yesterday, the partly pressed snow was covered with a super layer during the night. Up to 1500m as a blower, creamy soft underneath.
Risks
very critical. A quick check of today's activities on the Internet is enough. There was a serious accident on the Vilan in Prättigau with 4 fatalities. There were also several incidents in the Bregenzerwald. The same on the Arlberg. I'm definitely not riding anything steep at the moment.
Overall impression
Perhaps the best day so far. In the morning on the highway at 7.00 a.m. after heavy snowfall and struggling to make progress, then blue skies shortly after 8 - brilliant. Diffuse visibility again from around 14.00.
