Snow report Northeastern Switzerland, 03/06/2016
Yeah - 3 Tage - three in a row. Westallgäu- Bregenzerwald - Nordostschweiz
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Largely 2 stars - lower altitudes 1-2 higher altitudes 3 stars.
Snow quality
Saturday 3 stars, yesterday 5 and today 4 gives an average of 4. Unfortunately it was already over on the south side today, here it was still perfect yesterday until midday. So from now on it's only north-facing, as south-facing and other more sunny slopes have a cap.
Risks
Overall, I was relatively relaxed and didn't notice anything unusual here in the Westallgäu or in the Bregenzerwald or today. However, I have to say that I was out and about on Saturday and Sunday at less than 1800m. Not to be compared with the more alpine locations in the Bregenzerwald or Allgäu.
Overall impression
An average of 4 stars here too, although yesterday was 5 stars - the second day of the season with no time to eat, take photos or anything else. Brilliant. Saturday was still a bit damp, yesterday perfect fluffy, deep snow about 20-30cm and today the same again, unfortunately only in the north. Now you could harvest the whole thing with a few more days of touring on the north side, otherwise the precipitation is over for now?PS. At the moment it's possible to ski down the north side of the rear Rhine valley (550m)
