Surselva / Val Lumnezia - blown hard: Ski tour on Piz Dadent and Piz da Vrin
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Generally little snow for the time of year. Southern slopes below 1500m almost bare. Northern slopes still snow up to around 1000m. Last snowfall a long time ago.
Snow quality
Rather moderate! All slopes strongly influenced by the wind, one or two northern hollows still have a bit of powder, but you have to find it first. South-facing slopes hard as a rock and often rough, but when they open up, they're nice to ski.
Risks
If there is no fresh snow or a massive warm spell, then it is quite safe.
Overall impression
Well, it could be a lot better!
