Snow report Northeastern Switzerland, 11/23/2024
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Altitude
1300 - 2000m
Avalanche warning level
considerable (3)
Exposition
Snow condition
Quite good below the tree line, considering that there was nothing there before. We didn't hit the bottom in that area (expect again). Above the tree line and wherever else the wind blew off and, if at all, only with a lot of caution.
Video
Snow quality
Nice powder protected from the wind. The sinking depth was not mega, which is an advantage due to the lack of base. Towards midday it got a bit heavier.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Where we were traveling quite relaxed, considerably (3-) above 2200m.
Overall impression
From zero to hero or something like that. Seriously, a great first day for us, less ground contact than expected and a few nice bends.

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
