Storsteinnestindan (1017 m)

Overall impression
Snow condition
At the top, there are between one and two meters. At the bottom, in the bushes and slightly above, you have to be careful not to catch a stone. There could be a bit more here. But you can get to the car without any problems.
Snow quality
The upper 300 meters are a dream, not surprising at -25°C. The rest of the route is still good, but you do have to watch out for wind caps and ice slabs from time to time.
Risks
There were several avalanches around Tromsø at the weekend, but I'm not aware of any casualties. At Storsteinnestindan we could make out some drift snow packs, so caution is advised. You should wait a little longer for the numerous couloirs.
Overall impression
Probably the best ski tour up here so far. Mother nature, great terrain, super snow (at the top) and the sun was also present for just under 40 minutes. Nevertheless, dress warmly!
