Snow report Northern Norway, 01/30/2016
Spontaneous mini-tour on the Varden from the front door. Update to yesterday's report

Snow condition
It's been snowing since 8 o'clock this morning and by 1 p.m. there was easily 20-30 cm of fresh snow. As a result, everything is super rideable right down to the bottom. At 100 m above sea level there is between 70-100 cm, further up more. Just under four stars
Snow quality
Unfortunately, the fresh snow came and still comes with quite high temperatures and is therefore quite heavy. But it should get better as it cools down tonight.
Risks
Not quite as much wind as the last few days, but I would still stay in the forest, if only because of the visibility.
Overall impression
Things are looking up again! The Norwegian weather forecast was pretty wrong again, instead of 2 cm, 30 cm have fallen (so far). Now it's a bit colder and there's no more reason to complain
