Touren im südlichen Lyngenteil - Lakselvdalen: weniger Windeinfluss durch den gestrigen Wind als im nördlichen Teil, schöner gesetzter Pulverschnee

Overall impression
Snow condition
It feels like there is still a bit more snow in this corner than in the north. Our summit slope today had a south-easterly exposure and the rest of the tour was mainly in the west sector. The summit slope had enough snow despite its windward orientation and was easy to ski without crampons. Due to the strong wind yesterday, we again chose a more passive tour without a steeper leeward section.
Snow quality
Yesterday, the snow quality in the north was already somewhat limited. Today it was surprisingly good in the south. In sheltered sections, the powder was still nicely set and the summit slope (south-eastern exposure) also brought a mixture of firn and heavily set powder. Quite nice to ski. I think you can still get something in this corner over the next few days.
Risks
Unpleasant conditions on the mountain yesterday due to the strong wind. The wind was blowing a lot and the descent was mainly on drift snow (see picture from yesterday). Leeward slopes also looked well blown in today. We could see numerous snow slabs yesterday on the drive south and today during the tour. The drift snow problem will also be an issue in the coming days. In the valleys, temperatures were in the plus range today and wet snow avalanches will be relevant there. General note: easterly winds are predominant here!
Overall impression
Touring in the south for the first time! There were far fewer tourers there today than in the north. We were alone for the entire ascent. On the descent, we only saw a total of 6 people on the ascent. There were fewer fjord views, but we were able to marvel at the striking white giants.
