Snow condition
There's still room at the top. You have to watch out for stones - as you have done all winter. But you can have fun in gullies and hollows. There was 15-20 cm of fresh snow at the top. Below, white ribbons of piste between green-brown meadows.
Snow quality
Beautiful racepow and drifting snow until midday. Then the snow became heavier and heavier in the sun. Below slush and braking swamp.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: medium
Above: 2700 m
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
A dangerous accumulation of drift snow near the ridge. Several spontaneous boards came down with strong sunlight. Most of them were small, but some of them had a 50cm edge. A section of ski slope was also buried and closed.
Avalanche activity
Dry slab avalanche
Altitude: 3000 m
Overall impression
Nice lowtide racepow day and unexpected sun. Even at just under 3000 the powder gets heavy as the day progresses. So tomorrow will probably be worse
