Hochgratbahn valley station without rock contact. Above 1500m there are only isolated stalks of shrubs. Slight stone contact in the forest when crossing. On meadows, however, sufficient base to avoid getting through.
Snow quality
Fluffy fresh snow which, depending on the exposure, was somewhat taken in by the wind. In some places it is certainly a fat 4 stars. However, in the overall tour context with the approach, I give it 3 as it was simply deeper and dustier the day before.
Risks
Defensive Toir over the back was really ok today. Ridge tops are vulnerable and the steep flanks should not be run in.
Overall impression
Even the foothills of the Nagelfluhkette are very worthwhile at the moment with the snow conditions. Almost nobody out and about and great views as far as Lake Constance
