Snow condition

Until noon today * 7.01.2016 * Below 1000 meters slightly over-snowed only from 1200 - 1400 meters 10-25 cm. Old snow crust + fresh snow layer Only above 1200 meters skiing on the slopes is fun. Off-piste there is always a crack under the slats (stone contact). Grassy slopes are recommended (-; above 1800 meters more stone contact (snow has been blown away). With a bit of searching you can find a few nice gullies or slopes where you can make some nice turns. But always ski defensively - your boards will thank you for it.

Old snow crust + powder snow. Between 5-25 cm depending on altitude. Change in the weather from midday, with snowfall and later rain up to 1400 meters.

Risks

Snow has been dumped at high altitudes. Things could get tricky exactly where a little snow would appear to be profitable for a few nice turns.

Absolutely happy - except for the snow depths. The first short ski tour after cruciate ligament surgery - yay! So, things are looking up - hopefully also with the snow depths .....

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
