Snow report Oberstdorf, 01/10/2019
Deep
Oberstdorf
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Enough - good descents down to the valley
Snow quality
Nice fluffy powder - partly characterized by wind .30-40 cm powder
Risks
Only a few off-piste tours and freeride descents possible. Safest below the tree line. Due to all the snow that came with the wind = lots of drifting snow. Restraint is the order of the day.
Overall impression
Fun to ride through powder with wide poles. Unfortunately with great restraint in steep terrain due to tricky avalanche conditions. Pictures (c) Skibuddy Martin Hölle
