Overall impression
Snow condition
Actually too little snow, but the 20 - 30 centimeters of powder snow can't be described as "bad" - it lies on a thin, hard old snow base - below 1000 m there is no snow base - but with a bit of defensive skiing you can also make some nice turns off-piste on the meadow slopes. The summit slope was completely blown clear before the fresh snow - so lots of stones. So it's better to keep right on the descent.
Snow quality
the 20 - 30 powder. Sunny slopes have been given a light cover
Risks
Moderate below 1800 m - for the rest of the Allgäu above 1800 m, keep your eyes open. Tricky are over-snowed drift snow deposits and in steep slopes the fresh snow with a lack of binding to the hard old snow base
Overall impression
Exercise in the winter landscape in great weather. The days are getting longer again. Summit tea at sunset - Nice !
