Snow condition

Wow, suddenly there's frighteningly little on the mountains in the first row. In steeper terrain, it suddenly becomes very thin in more frequented places. Otherwise (still) sufficient. It has rained and the temperatures have risen sharply. You notice that immediately.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

Softened, older snow. Acceptable to ski. Could be worse, therefore 2 stars.

Risks

LLB level 2, probably a low 2 in the eastern foothills. Have not identified any danger spots. The rising temperatures and the soaking of the snowpack are likely to pose the greatest risks.

An evening tour like this can also save the day. The description probably doesn't sound like much fun - but we had it anyway. It could be a lot worse, so 2 stars. Go out and take your skis with you while it's still good. Given the forecast, I'll get the MTB ready just in case.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
