Snow condition

from pp (1050m) by ski, on a base of about 15cm. no shark on the ascent and descent. but in the forest there is very little snow in some sections. in the summit area (1750m) up to 1m, north side. the pictures show what the south sides look like in the meantime.

Snow quality

still pow on the snow side, also still untracked, despite modetour. all other expos now capped when the sun is gone and southeast to west pretty soft when the sun is there.

safe, in my expo and altitude there was already a one today. but there are still quite a lot of sliding snow mouths that have not yet gone down, even in expo n.

Overall impression

after 5 days of coughing and circulatory problems, i did a fitness test today before this dream week is over.
but here you can combine the necessary (small tour, at bluebird) with the pleasant (never done before). it was totally worth it. great area there in balderschwang and insights into the allgäu that i've never had before. snow conditions absolutely sufficient, snow quality on the north side still good. free choice of lines possible without restrictions and despite modetour, rather little going on. for me a clear 3.
