Started at 600 hm and good snow conditions. Fences and tree trunks are well covered in snow. Only in the dense forest is it not yet deep enough
Snow quality
Good, wet powder. About 15-20cm of fresh snow overnight. A little damp but not heavy. Reminiscent of drift snow that was swirled in the air but then fell without wind.
Risks
Only been out today below the tree line in the foothills of the Alps. No avalanche danger as it was too flat. Hochgrat and Rindalphorn north looked blown in with binoculars. There was also a southerly wind this morning.
Overall impression
It's nice that it's colder again and the new snow load also gives the chance of good powder at higher altitudes.
