Snow quality

The wind picked up in the morning hours and shifted the snow. Still 20-30 cm of super powder snow in areas where the wind had calmed down

Wind / fresh snow is therefore quite tricky on ridges.

Overall impression

Much, much has already been ploughed in the morning using the last "untracked" areas at the guardian of the Allgäu. However, you will have to hike further during the days to find untracked and safe terrain with powder snow. Alone on the mountain in the morning or with ski colleagues - you can start the day in a much more relaxed way (-;
