Snow report Oberstdorf, 02/03/2015
Perfect moment - pre work and after work tour - on days like these....
Oberstdorf
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
Up to the valley 700 hm rideable 20 cm, on the mountain up to 150 - 180 cm snow - near the ridge snow was partly blown off and shifted by wind
Snow quality
Still nice powder - partly already a bit settled with wind flow a bit more compact
Risks
Above the tree line still tricky - covered line choice !
Overall impression
Morning tour on Steineberg directly from Ski Buddy's front door in Gunzesried. In the evening we did another great project (unfortunately not mentioned further) with Powder Guide Gefährte. This is not feasible / rideable in every season. That's why we've given it another 5-star deluxe rating. And anyone who doubts this rating again is welcome to go out with us ...(-;
