a (brilliant) week at the schwarzenberghütte

Overall impression
Snow condition
top, there's nothing more to say!
Snow quality
yesterday, even south-facing (still) top. load-bearing top with 5cm fresh pow on it, from top to bottom.w-, over north-, to east-facing, cold, well-set pow.great for shredding!!!!
Risks
level 2, fits. steeper things are also possible at the moment.note the daily warming in expo s! info: both in the ascent to luitpoldhs.., as well as at the bottom of the bärgüntlebach, on the ascent to himmeleck, there are huge piles of sliding snow hanging directly above. these are not visible from the ascent position!!! beware of danger to life (pic. 7). i would avoid the luitpoldhs. at the moment (although it was tracked in yesterday) until the glasfelder-west has discharged. at the end of the bärgüntle valley, do not follow the stream bed to the end, but cross out early (before the zwerchwand).
Overall impression
epic pow experience, with fresh pow and grand beau. one of the better weeks of my life.
