Snow condition

4 von 5 Sterne

Best snow conditions in recent years.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

In pure north-facing terrain up to approx. 1300m still settled powder, partly pressed. Below this there is a tendency towards broken snow, but due to the temperature it is soft and relatively easy to ski. 2 to 3 stars.

Risks

LLB 2: No negative observations in the northern sector today. Also in the 45 degree plus range. Huge open sliding snow cracks on the south side. Partly already gone.

Overall impression

5 von 5 Sterne

The last untracked line on the Hochgrat today. I've never seen a track here in the last 18 years since I started skiing from the summit. We've been up there many times and considered making an attempt but never did. Perfect today. This ravine with waterfalls as high as houses is unbelievable, and today it's safe and rideable. It's hard to imagine that you can't get up or down here in summer... 5 stars due to the singularity and the experience factor...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
