Snow condition

approx. 20cm of fresh snow, at 1000m. above the forest, wind-loaded and partly blown away. in wind-calm areas, sometimes up to 70cm. free choice of route almost unrestricted, but watch out for sharks!

Snow quality

on the shady side, good, settled pow. it remained quite loose during the day. all other expos, soft, deep pow-sulz. there will be a cap tomorrow.

Risks

the bayer. 2er is ok. the upper 10cm are quite brittle drift snow and relatively easy to release. however, no large floes form and the sluff is manageable. even 40° terrain felt rather safe.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

today a clear 4 for me, because great weather, super pow, pretty much alone on the way (at least on the descent and ascent) and a descent that i had wanted to do for a long time, caught in the best conditions. unfortunately it was as warm as at the end of march and tomorrow it will be much worse.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
