Snow quality
yesterday it was already raining up to about 2000m. what a shame, the great pow is now gone at this altitude.
Risks
Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)
wet snow slides everywhere due to the rain. massive snow drifts in ridge areas due to the storm.
Overall impression
until yesterday, sensational. relatively cold, lots of untracked, loose pow, sufficient base at all altitudes and lots of sunshine. on verg. w.e. was very busy in the area. from mo. almost alone. did three great tours. yesterday after the warming and the rain that started at noon and because of the weather forecast for today, canceled.
