Unchanged good rideability down into the valley, after the rain on Sunday there was also rain down into the valley on Monday and again tonight.

Snow quality

Very different. Up to about 1600m, the fresh snow was about 20cm on a rock-hard layer of "ice", then underneath that was a layer of old snow that was wet all the way down to the valley, with the fresh snow on top, so much better, tending towards very good. The deeper the better today.

Risks

At high altitudes, where the new and transported snow lies on the "ice", this is very unfavorable. Here the snow comes off quickly and sometimes over a large area. Further down is much more relaxed.

Overall impression

Top three stars, nothing expected and then quite good, if it hadn't been for the injury to my colleague. Get well soon, I hope you're doing reasonably well...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
