Snow condition
At 900m 10cm on nothing, at 2000m 30cm+, depending on the expo. Above 1200m solid 3 stars. Occasionally stones are barely covered, avalanche bumps mostly clearly visible despite fresh snow. You could really step on the gas, as above 1700m you could hardly get through to the base.
Snow quality
Super powder, only wet on the sunny side before noon, but good to ride, will have a lid tomorrow. On the north side there are still face shots ready to be picked up.
Risks
Loose snow slides from around 40 degrees, also somewhat larger on the sunny side, or spontaneously from rocky terrain. From time to time you slipped away on the way out, but it was limited. Slight wind influence from about 2000m
Overall impression
Quite busy, of course, but still the best day of the season for me. Ideal amount of fresh snow of very good quality, quite safe conditions and sunshine. Inside it's 5 stars
