Exposition

North North-Eas

Snow condition

4 von 5 Sterne
50 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 900 m)
Descent through forest
Covered shoes

The nordstau continues and there's still no sign of spring here - on the contrary, it's still snowing. You can actually ride anything, you can really step on the gas off-road, the forest is also very good but not too deep.

Snow quality

5 von 5 Sterne
Powder snow

nice cold powder (north side) up to about 1500m, at lower altitudes you could feel the sunlight from yesterday, from 1200 it became noticeably heavier

Risks

Much fresh snow
East South-East

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

the LLB issued a 3 for the altitude above 2000m, as the visibility was very limited at times, we only stayed up to the tree line. the snow cover made a homogeneous impression, no cracks or observations to be seen. however, caution is advised for Sunday, towards the afternoon it became quite windy, in combination with the resumption of snowfall, a lot is transported here.

Overall impression

5 von 5 Sterne
Equal

the best day of the season for me too. today everything was just right, the temperature, the crew, the quality and the amount of fresh snow. there's still a lot to come here in the next few days, with the existing base there's definitely still some time to go
