still rideable on the north side down to the valley (800-900m). nothing more to get in the forest. south side up to at least 1400m also over - except for the famous hoses = gullies.
Snow quality
yesterday it was clearly better near the valley = very soft/wet, the whole thing froze tonight, so quite rough early in the morning, later on it was quite firny there. from about 1100m with a light layer of fresh snow, from 1400m upwards then nice blower about 10-15 cm on partly hard but always very compact ground.
Risks
quite relaxed. a 2 was issued. when i think of what was partly sold as a 2 last week/weeks, today was a super one...
Overall impression
it was nice, maybe the last good day of this season until the lowlands? let's see what the rain leaves...it doesn't have to wash away much, it could quickly be that that's it...
