Exposition
Snow condition
Still really good. There has been another 40-50cm of fresh snow. There is still almost 2m of snow on the summit.
Snow quality
It was still quite powdery in the morning, but you could already tell that it wasn't the lightest snow. On the descent at around 11 a.m., the snow was already very heavy.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: low
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
According to the LLB warning level 3, the main problem is drift snow. We only found drift snow near the crest. Otherwise, the snow cover made a good impression.
Overall impression
Super day with a surprising amount of fresh snow. Only on the descent could the snow have been a bit fluffier. Despite the cold temperatures, the sun is now doing a great job.
