Descent to valley (to 1400 m)
Stone Contact avoidable

Continuous snow from 1400, but there are still many rocks and bushes peeking out above. Exit from the basin onto the ridge involves some rock scrambling. Exit from the basin just possible.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust
Wet snow
Slush
Firn
Jelly snow

SO at 11 a.m. already deep snow with everything gnawing at 20°. Still good firn on the flat. N+NO thawed just enough at 1 pm, very nice to ski, earlier would have been stupid. Then rotten snow below 1500.

Risks

Crevasse or fall danger
Diurnal warming

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Just spring

Overall impression

Worse

Fantastic day with good timing. The feeling of rolling out of the valley at 20° C after a hard day's work is simply mega. Possibly the last tour in the Allgäu, hence an extra star.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
