Powder Grünten again
Oberstdorf
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
the last few days it snowed down to the valleys. 5 cm / 1000 m on the mountain / 1700 meters 30-40 cm further up it easily added up to 100 cm
Snow quality
Powdery snow at high altitudes. Where the sun could already work - the snow became heavy and lazy. But for mid-April ...... madness again powder on the Grasbuckel / Grünten
Risks
I can wholeheartedly agree. Maybe not too critical on the Grünten, but even on the eastern slopes there have already been avalanches of sliding snow
Overall impression
Powder tour with son. Winter goes into extra time again. The skis are unpacked again instead of biking
