Except for the southern slopes, there is still good snow from 1400-1600 meters

Unexpectedly good. Good to very good firn. Below 1700 meters from early afternoon, firn snow was already "rotten"

Spring tours = early start = relaxed avalanche situation

A little undecided in the morning as to which tour was worthwhile. The chosen tour was worthwhile with the snow and today's snow conditions. However, there is still a lot of snow in Hintersteiner Tal for the Allgäu classic. The bike had to be parked until shortly after Giebelhaus, then by ski and again on foot over large old avalanche cones up and down and the same back again. Otherwise great firn. The sun came out from around 9:00 am - so the firn lasted longer
