Snow condition
Still doable, but already really thin. From about 1400m there is enough snow to get up and down, then no more places to unbuckle. The snow cover is already thin or non-existent in some places, which clearly limits the downhill options.

Snow quality
Three stars on the verge of two. At the bottom, the snow cover has a lot of texture, which makes driving a little less pleasant. We were a bit late for the top. We climbed up the gully south of the summit, 8:45 am would have been ideal here. We didn't arrive until 9:30, so the skis sank in slightly at the back every time we made a turn. The firn snow often slowed us down considerably.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
There was an ice fall on the north side of the Nebelhorn, which was impressively loud. Otherwise, you simply have to watch out for warming during the day.
Overall impression
Very nice tour in a great landscape, nice skiing but nothing more. Recovery option directly at the parking lot again 5/5 stars 🙃
