Snow condition

Snow is only available above 1800 / 2000 m. Piste in the ski area - summit basin Nebelhorn - still good and sufficient, but off-piste is no longer possible there! Off-piste - can only harvest selected turns in north-facing hollows and gullies (above 1800 m)

Snow quality

1 von 5 Sterne

The snow line has fluctuated between 1600 and 1800 meters above sea level over the last few days. Above 2000 m there was 10 cm of heavy, wet fresh snow. The freshly groomed piste was still good and fun to ski on with wet powder snow.

Risks

Due to the soaked old snow cover and the wet fresh snow, there were smaller wet snow avalanches in the steep terrain / gullies

Overall impression

Well, now the Allgäu ski tours are as good as over - maybe still in the Gamswanne / Hinterstienr Tal ....
