Snow has receded to 1800 meters on the south side, even to almost 2000 meters. A few tours can be started even further down on skis. Start for the tour / Großer Wilder - Gamswanne at just under 1500 meters

Super firn in the upper part in the middle section swamp snow further down again good skiable wet snow

Sliding through the summer temperatures against wet snow

Classics in the Allgäu are always beautiful. By bike from Hinterstein to the snow line. Then on with skis. Unfortunately, this tour is not without danger. A tragic accident occurred the day before. A ski tourer fell over rocks and succumbed to his serious injuries, our condolences and sympathy.
