in the bärgüntletal: closed snow cover, from about 1400m. from about 1600m, something like fresh snow, as creamy, very heavy pow. above 1800m quite good pow, on a supporting base. departure at 10.30h, was too late for the area below 1600m today. cruel break.
Risks
Wind intensity: Extreme (> 60 km/h)
no avalanches or slides seen. as it was relatively cool, despite the longer sunny stretches, quite safe today.
Overall impression
it will be a while before summer snow forms in the areas mentioned. today was a very good and quite sunny ski day, with lots of firn and sulz. the break is also part of it ... bike&ski would also be possible in the upper valley.
