Snow condition
About 35 cm of new snow at 1200 m, now about 60 cm. In the valley 5cm of slush on top of yesterday's slush. Snow depth continues to increase from 1200m. From 0 cm to 150 cm due to the storm. With the right choice of line, no ground contact anywhere.
Snow quality
Om ass. Incredible pressed concrete snow, almost unrideable. From 1200m downwards, then soggy slushy snow, easy to ride.
Risks
Strong wind/storm yesterday. Intensive loads. Alpine not without.
Overall impression
Unfortunately it looked good, enormous snow accumulation, but a horror to drive on. I'm skeptical whether tomorrow will be any good here. At least it's got colder...
