21:41 It's been pouring with rain since this morning. The Allgäu Alps are completely snow-free apart from a few shreds of snow on the north side - warm and now soaking wet.

...yes uh - maybe more on that tomorrow.
Risks
At the moment you can ski on grass from top to bottom, and in the wet conditions this could well be possible on steep slopes.
Overall impression
Autumn has been sensational, but enough is enough - here are a few photos of the past few weeks, but there's more than enough now. Bring on the powder! And not just on Boxing Day like last year, please! Two pairs of old skis have been in the trunk since this morning, the equipment is sorted, the old all-wheel drive B4 (only the 2.6 liter version) is registered, so come on...
