Today until the evening in the valley at 850m only about 5cm of snow. However, this is more like slush, as the snow turned into rain/sleet even at this altitude. Even at the start at 20.30 it was still sleet. At 1200m about 15cm of new snow. However, very wet here too. From approx. 1400m, light and fine-grained powder. Little wind influence. In relation to the date you could also give 3 stars. A week ago I went mountain biking and there was zero snow up to the top.

Quite damp up to 1400m, but easy to ski. Then transition to very nice, fine-grained powder. Here rather 3 stars.

Risks

More and more snow. In addition to the soaking from below, there was also soaking from above up to medium altitudes today. Difficult to assess, nothing suspicious noticed but that doesn't mean anything...I would be skeptical on steep grassy slopes.

Overall impression

Yes, today would be a full moon, it certainly is, but not on my night tour. Despite the light snowfall, it was surprisingly still reasonably light and it was great! No ground contact, compact snow cover, powder on top, great atmosphere, let's move on.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
