Snow condition

1 von 5 Sterne

Poor, on not too steep meadows in the northern sector you can usually get down to about 900m without damage but not completely without ground contact, because there was still a minimal base there. At 1600m, not even a snowboard boot's height of snow. You should avoid heavily structured meadows, rocky terrain and anything approaching 30 degrees if you don't want to damage your equipment unnecessarily.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Good powder snow, without wind, which would theoretically be perfect for fast skiing. In quite flat spots with a base, you could even apply some pressure and make some nice turns.

Risks

Avalanches are only dangerous in very steep terrain where there is a base. But you can't ski there properly due to the snow conditions. Otherwise, things are more dangerous under the snow.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

Personal start to the season with good but not enough snow. Escaped the fog at the top. Found the lost gloves again. Only the two fat scratches remain as a negative point...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
