It doesn't get any better in this weather... but west of the Iller there is, as usual, more snow than east. Start at 100m, eastward ascent, carry the board up to 1300m. Only on the flat can you go underneath with skins. Above that it was OK, descent possible in a sheltered, north-facing track up to 1000 m. Due to the heat-induced settling, you didn't have to reach for the handbrake as much. No ground contact
Snow quality
Damp snow, but not yet completely wet. Unfortunately, it started to close in the morning, so the cover from the night didn't go away completely. But at least it was never heavy and you could ski without cramping. Probably even more uncomfortable on skis than on a board.
Risks
As always, the danger lies beneath the snow.
Overall impression
Training and exploration, unfortunately that's all it was.
