In the valley there are still 5 cm on the mountain at 2000 meters, sometimes 60-80 cm come together. Offpist from 1500-1700 meters in isolated gullies or wind-calm slopes there are a few turns to harvest. Otherwise there is still too little snow for big freeride adventures. Good conditions on the piste, even downhill runs are possible thanks to artificial snow.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Snow line last night was about 1000m. So up to about 1400 meters it was rather spring snow = wet and cardboard snow. From 1600 meters it had 10 cm of wind-blown powder.

Risks

Above the tree line, the few centimeters of fresh snow came with wind - watch out for drift snow accumulations but still relaxed. May change over the next few days as temperatures rise.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Just barely awarded the 3rd star because the weather played along and was better than expected.
Thanks to the perfectly groomed valley run, it was still a nice ski tour with a long descent almost to the car (-;

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
