Snow condition
Today we didn't hit the ground anywhere, even though the carpet pad is missing. The wind only worked in a few places, where a blade of grass came to light. Luckily there were six of us making tracks, otherwise it would have been extremely exhausting. We then skied the southern slope from the Salmaser Höhe to Wiedemannsdorf, 1250m - 750m, which doesn't happen that often. That's worth 4 stars to me.
Snow quality
The fresh snow had already settled a little and, strangely enough, there was a very thin crust on the snow, even though it was relatively cold overnight. This slowed us down quite a bit and there was no more dust. Yesterday was definitely much better. 3 stars for the snow under the crust, but overall I would give it 2. Unfortunately.
Risks
I absolutely cannot understand the 4 below the tree line. We never had a bad feeling. Even on the northern slope of the Immenstädter Horn (between 30-40 degrees steep) there were tracks (although I don't know whether from today or yesterday) and nothing slipped. We also didn't hear any noises or observe anything else.
Overall impression
Beautiful landscape on the ridge and a descent that I've wanted to do for a long time. Unfortunately the snow wasn't that great, but overall it was great! PS: Does anyone know an explanation for the crust? PPS: Pictures to come!
