Snow report Obertauern, 02/25/2015
Update Obertauern: Flat light, rutted and crowded slopes dominate today. Unfortunately not nearly as good as yesterday.

Unfortunately, I still can't give more than 3 stars for the snow conditions. All in all, however, quite ok
Snow quality
The snow has settled a bit over night, about 5 cm have been added since yesterday and the wind has still been blowing a bit. All in all, not quite as good as yesterday, especially because it was already pretty choppy and the harsh snow is coming through...
Risks
The fresh snow hasn't really bonded well with the hard layer of old snow and some of the gullies and hollows are still very windswept. Even away from the crest, you can see very clear signs of wind on open slopes. In some places you can hear the sound of whamming and on crossings you can see how unstable the snow cover is. A few smaller boards could be observed
Overall impression
Lots of freeriders and especially those who want to become one! Sometimes very alarming where people tumble down in a pack, sometimes without a backpack. Russian and possibly Czech shouting characterizes the acoustic background.
