Overall impression
Snow condition
Now that it has snowed heavily several times in the last few weeks, it's very good again. As the snow is relatively compact, I don't think the fresh snow will be gone very quickly. And the base until Easter wasn't gigantic, but it was also far from bad - apart from a few watercourses and steep south-facing slopes below 1900m, everything here is covered in deep snow, so it's set for a long touring season.
Snow quality
Quite a bit of fresh snow, the exact amount is difficult to estimate as the wind was there and it varies in the terrain between a good 10 and just under 50 cm. On average, I would say a good 30 cm of fresh snow, but unfortunately the top 5 cm are not only a little damp (probably due to the diffuse radiation), but also slightly affected by the wind. This makes for unpleasant dipping and getting stuck on flat terrain and reduces the quality.
Risks
With the wind and the current snowpack structure (cold to warm, then warm again) currently unfavorable.as soon as it got even a little steeper there were cracks in the snowpack, meanwhile would stay in the flat.
Overall impression
Good for May and you're always happy about fresh snow. Unfortunately mediocre skiing. It would have been better on a steep slope, but that was definitely not possible today.
