... and with giant strides. It's hard to believe how much snow has melted here in the last two weeks. From the top of the pass, you can only start on the slopes of the closed ski area, but even that won't be possible for much longer.there's still snow up to around 1600m on the steeper north-facing slopes, but in other exposures it's already snowed over far up.thanks to the summery April, there's not much left of a decent season and it looks like the season will end early.

Really good firn today. Again, really frozen through and not even thawed too early. Below 2400m already summer snow.

Risks

I would describe it as relaxed throughout. At higher altitudes, you still need to pay attention to the heating.

Unfortunately, I hadn't expected the conditions to be so good and was therefore much too late. I could have done better today, if I had known that I would have set my alarm for 3:30 instead of 5.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
