Snow condition
The amount of snow is very difficult to estimate as there was a lot of wind during the snowfall phase (on average around 1 meter). Especially summit constructions that were very exposed to the wind are very blown off and do not invite you to ski on them. However, it is still possible to go on tours without contact with rocks and without having to study the route.
Snow quality
A nice slab powder on the north side and good spring conditions in the sunny exposures. The snow conditions were much better than expected.
Risks
Quite relaxed on the north side, there was activity in the sun exposures. There was everything from very small to medium. You should be very careful there in particular.
Overall impression
End of October, blue skies, snow, that's how I imagine the start of the season!
