Nothing works off the slopes! At the top of the pass, the temperatures were in the plus range around midday (there was no sun until midday) and the foehn was working hard. All the terrain has blown off. The pistes are still in good condition and the small Tauern circuit is skiable.
Snow quality
Quite fine in the morning, as there were only a few mm of new and drift snow on the slopes. With the increasing crowds, the slopes were quite choppy. For the early morning there are 1.5 stars.
Risks
No off-piste skiing is currently possible. Due to the flat light, it was difficult to see whether there was already avalanche activity. However, the drift snow will remain somewhere. This should be kept in mind should winter return.
Overall impression
A few hours of sliding down the slopes, no more and no less...
