Basically OK, if it weren't for the wind. Lots of blown-off areas, in almost all expos and especially above the tree line. In between blown-in hollows and gullies.

Where the wind has not or only slightly attacked, the finest powder in premium quality (4*+), otherwise blown off hard surfaces or wind cover (2*).
Risks
Hola the forest fairy. The new drift snow is super brittle and reactive. There were similar reports yesterday. The wind was already blowing massive amounts of storm-force snow in open areas in the morning. It's going to be even trickier over the next few days.
Overall impression
I actually thought the wind wouldn't pick up until around midday. But it was already blowing massively in the morning. Plan A was done with, at the start of plan B it quickly became clear that there was no point. Retreat. When we set off it was around -11 degrees, really crisp with the wind chill. It was simply the wrong spot today, other areas were probably not so massively affected by the wind right from the start. Walked up twice, exercise therapy.
