Snow condition
From Martin Busch Hütte approx. 10 min to carry to the bridge. From there ascent possible and currently you can also get there on the descent, but you have to circle through the stones. Glacier well snowed in, summit ridge currently comfortable to walk on in ski boots. There are only about 5 old avalanche cones to cross by bike or on foot to Martin Busch Hütte, absolutely no problems.
Snow quality
Pow Pow 🤟 just under 10cm at the top, fluffy, fast and fell completely without wind. Harsch cover underneath breaks when skiing, but very evenly and that doesn't really bother. Very nice to ski. Less and less towards the bottom, no more significant dust on crust below 3000m. Then soon softened a bit like a firn and still great to ski.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Daytime warming must be taken into account, but in my opinion not too critical as the transformation of the snow is already well advanced
Overall impression
Very successful trip to the Similaun with my colleague schneerudi. May powder included 🙃
